Mason City School District to hold public hearing on proposed $1 million budget amendment
The public hearing is set for Monday, May 4, 2026, at 5:30 p.m.. It will be held at the Mason City Community School District Administration Building, located at 1515 S. Pennsylvania Ave.
According to the official notice, the proposed amendment would increase the total budget from approximately $66.6 million to $67.6 million. The vast majority of the additional spending—$793,247—is earmarked for “Instruction”.
