LAKE PARK — Mark Wade Elliott, 69, of Lake Park, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2026, surrounded by his family.
Visitation will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Friday, September 18, at CrossWinds Church, 2805 Erie Avenue in Spirit Lake. A prayer service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the church.
Interment will follow at Westport Cemetery, 2301 130th Avenue in rural Lake Park.
Mark was born November 6, 1956, in Muscatine, the son of Roland Elliott and Bonnie Burns. He attended school in Muscatine before enlisting in the United States Army.
Mark proudly served his country in the Army and National Guard before receiving a medical discharge. He remained deeply proud of his military service and his country throughout his life.
A true outdoorsman, Mark enjoyed spending time outside whenever possible. He had a lifelong passion for motorcycles, with his favorites including his 1949 Panhead and 2001 Heritage.
Mark also enjoyed John Wayne movies and westerns. He and his wife, Deb, shared a love of music and attended numerous concerts together through the years.
Faith and family occupied central places in Mark’s life. He and Deb were members of CrossWinds Church in Spirit Lake.
Mark was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He especially enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s sporting events and extracurricular activities, and he treasured the memories created during time spent with his family.
Friends and relatives will remember Mark for his personality, love of motorcycles and the outdoors, pride in his military service and unwavering devotion to his family.
They will also remember his familiar phrase, “All Ate Up,” which is certain to continue bringing smiles and memories to those who knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish Mark’s memory include his wife, Deb Elliott of Lake Park; children, Jacob Elliott and his wife, Joselle Anne, of Savannah, Georgia, Brandon Elliott and his wife, Erin, of Hartley, Cyndal Baier and her wife, Nicole, of Newton, Amber Hiveley and her husband, Jeff, of Harris, Junior Larson and his wife, Rhonda, of Crooks, Christine Larson of Jackson, Minnesota, Thor Larson and his friend, LeAnn, of Mankato, Minnesota, and Kammerson Larson of Sherburn, Minnesota.
He is also survived by his grandchildren, Kelsey, Jaelyn, Liberty, Carolina, Brooklyn, Hunter, Gage, Charlotte and Lanette; stepmother, Julie Elliott; sister, Rolanna Frye and her friend, John; extended family members; and friends.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Dennis and Bruce Elliott; and grandparents.
