FOREST CITY — Rex Jon Ennen, 75, of Forest City, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at his home in Forest City.
A memorial service celebrating Rex’s life will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 17, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Forest City, with Pastor Anna Wolf officiating.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, September 16, at Schott Funeral Home in Forest City. Visitation will continue for one hour prior to Thursday’s memorial service at the church.
Rex was born March 27, 1951.
He was a longtime resident of the Forest City area and had ties to Winnebago Industries.
Rex was the son of John and Shirley Ennen and was part of a large family that included brothers Tom and David and sisters Kathy, Valerie, Joice and Jacqueline.
He is also remembered by family members including his wife, Kim Ennen.
