WEST DES MOINES — Fullerton Funeral Home and Crematory, a long-standing pillar of the North Iowa community, has been officially recognized for its commitment to families across Mason City, Charles City, Rockwell, and Rockford.
During the 146th Annual Iowa Funeral Directors Association (IFDA) Convention—held April 14–16, 2026, in Altoona—Fullerton was one of only 12 funeral homes statewide to receive the prestigious Iowa Award of Funeral Service Excellence. This marks the first year the firm has received this peer-nominated honor.

The Iowa Funeral Directors Association represents over 700 licensed professionals and 425 establishments across the state. Their mission is to uphold the highest standards of service through legislative representation and elite continuing education programs.
