ESTHERVILLE — Jane Ann Moore, 74, a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Estherville whose working life included caring for others as a nurse’s aide, died September 18, 2026.

Jane was born May 4, 1952, in Buffalo Center, the daughter of William and Lavon (Patterson) Moore. She graduated from Rushmore High School before continuing her education in New Mexico and at Iowa Lakes Community College.

Her work took her to Buena Vista Manor and Windsor Manor, where she served as a nurse’s aide. Along with that work, her life included her connection to Calvary Baptist Church and the company of family and friends.

Jane is survived by many cousins and friends who remember the years they shared with her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Lavon Moore; her siblings, Larry Moore and Marlene Moore; and her aunt, Maxine Brones.
