Kenneth Chris Jensen, 82, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2025. Born on August 7, 1942, in Hampton, Iowa, to Verner and La Vone (Liekweg) Jensen, Ken lived a life full of love, service, and resilience.

Ken proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1961 to 1964, stationed in Germany. After his honorable discharge, he dedicated his career to the trucking and tractor industry until his retirement.

Ken”s life was marked by profound love and heartbreaking loss. He and his first wife, Linda, adopted two wonderful children, Marie and Scott. Linda was called to heaven shortly after, followed by his second wife, Emi. Ken found love again with Mary Ellen, and they shared 17 beautiful years together before she too was called to service in heaven. Despite these immense losses, Ken’s faith in the Lord remained unshaken, and he continued to face life with unwavering strength and a positive spirit.

Known for his big heart and infectious laughter, Ken was a cherished member of his church and the American Legion, Elmer Ellis Post 33. His hobbies included creating art, collecting toys, and tinkering with anything that had wheels.

Ken is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Steven and Gerald; sister, Joyce; and his beloved wives, Mary Ellen, Emi, and Linda.

Ken is survived by his loving family: his daughter, Marie Klein, and her husband, Mike, along with their children, Josh, Olivia, and Grace, all of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and his son, Scott Jensen, and his wife, Supa, with their children, Mombay, Linda, Jakob, and Daniel, of Benicia, California. Stepchildren: Jeannie, Brenda, and Bob of Missouri.

Ken’s legacy of love, laughter, and resilience will forever be remembered by those who knew and loved him.

There is no scheduled service.

Inurnment will be in Sheffield, Iowa.
