FAYETTE COUNTY, IOWA – A frosty roadway made for treacherous driving, a Northern Iowa woman found out, when her car slid off the slick road into a ditch and trapped her inside.
The Fayette county sheriff’s office says that on December 30, 2023 at approximately 9:47 AM the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office received report of a single vehicle roll-over accident with entrapment in the 4,000 block of Golden Road. Upon investigation it was determined 60 year old Kimberly Reed of West Union was westbound on Golden Road when, due to a patch of heavy frost covered roadway, Reed lost control of her 2003 Dodge Dakota.
