On Sunday, May 21, 2023, at approximately 8:04 PM, Waterloo Police and Fire Rescue were dispatch to 217-D Fereday Court on a report of female unresponsive. Waterloo Fire Rescue arrived and began performing life saving measures. During this time, it was observed that the female had several knife wounds. The female was transported by Waterloo Fire Rescue to Allen Hospital. The female later died as a result of her injuries. The name of the victim is not being released pending notification of family members.
