BOONE COUNTY, IOWA – Law enforcement in this Northern Iowa county announced numerous recent arrests and prosecutions for week ofDecember 9 – 20, 2024.
George James Jackson, 56, Boone, was sentenced by the District Court following a guilty plea to Domestic Abuse Assault 2nd, an Aggravated Misdemeanor. The defendant was sentenced to 2 years in prison, completion of a batterer’s education course, and payment of a fine and fees. The case was investigated by the Boone County Sheriff’s Office.
Erik Michael Finsand, 31, Boone, was sentenced by the District Court following a bench trial jury of guilty to Indecent Exposure, a Serious Misdemeanor. The conduct revolved around defendant’s exposure and masturbation in the Boone Walmart. The defendant was sentenced to 60 days in jail along with requirements for 10 years on the Sex Offender Registry and a 10 year special parole.
