United Way cereal sale set for Saturday in St. Ansgar

ST. ANSGAR, IOWA – All community members are invited to the annual MOM Brands and United Way of North Central Iowa cereal sale in St. Ansgar this Saturday – June 15. MOM Brands will be selling cereal for $1 per bag, cash only. One hundred percent of the proceeds will benefit United Way of North Central Iowa.

Beginning at 10 a.m., the MOM Brands semi-trailer will be parked on 4th Street, between the St. Ansgar Post Office and 4th Street Coffee. The sale will end when the cereal is gone, so don’t delay your visit.

MOM Brands cereal sale raised $6,200 last year. The 2013 goal is to increase that total and help United Way invest even more in North Central Iowa, including Mitchell County.

If you’re still interested in helping during the cereal sale, it is not too late to sign up. Volunteers may contact United Way at cm@unitedwaynci.org or 877-428-8962.

The MOM Brands Company is proud to be your neighbor in Mitchell County. They are the nation’s largest family-owned cereal company, and since 1919 they’ve been in the business of feeding families and of giving back to the communities where they live.
