ALGONA – Erma “Jean” Reynolds, 93, of Algona, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at Algona Manor Care Center.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 1, at Divine Mercy Catholic Parish – St. Cecelia, 715 E. North St. in Algona.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, August 31, at Lentz Funeral Home, 403 E. McGregor St. in Algona. A Catholic Daughters of the Americas Rosary will begin at 4 p.m.
A private family burial will take place at a later date.
Jean was born August 7, 1933. She spent more than nine decades building a life and relationships that will now be remembered by those who knew and loved her.
Jean’s Catholic faith will be reflected in the services honoring her life, including Monday’s rosary and Tuesday’s Mass at St. Cecelia.
For relatives and friends unable to attend in person, the Mass of Christian Burial will also be livestreamed through the funeral home’s website.
Jean died at Algona Manor Care Center, just weeks after celebrating her 93rd birthday.
