WEBSTER CITY – This Northern Iowa man is suspected by police of dealing a range of drugs after police executed a search warrant.
Following a lengthy investigation into suspected drug trafficking activity, the Webster City Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence located at 1030 Third Street. The operation led to the arrest of one individual and the seizure of a significant amount of illegal narcotics and firearms.
On May 22, 2025 officers with the Webster City Police Department, with assistance from the Hamilton County Sheriffs Office, executed the warrant at the residence. During the search, officers discovered distribution quantities of marijuana and cocaine. Additional substances, including ecstasy and various prescription pills, were also located and seized. Several firearms were recovered from the residence as well.
As a result of the search, Dalton Jamison Keith Smith, age 30, was taken into custody. Smith was charged with multiple drug-related offenses, and further charges related to the illegal possession of firearms are pending.
