Jeffrey L. Gross, 66, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at his home in Forest City, Iowa.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at Schott Funeral Home, 505 North Clark St., Forest City, Iowa 50436 with Kermit Singelstad officiating
Burial of his cremains will be held in Forest Home Cemetery in Leland, Iowa.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Leland, Iowa.
Jeffrey Lee Gross was born on January 2, 1959 to Perry and Darlene (Gifford) Gross in Des Moines, IA. He graduated from Forest City High School in 1977 and then followed in his parents footsteps and joined Winnebago Industries. He worked there until 2001 after his mother passed away. Jeffrey then sold his home to live with his father in Leland. In 2021, his father passed away and he moved to Forest City.
Jeffrey enjoyed camping on weekends with his family, riding his bike, playing albums on his record player, and he also enjoyed his alone time. Jeffrey will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Jeffrey is survived by his younger brother Kevin & his wife Judith(Putz) of Forest City; niece Carrie Putz of Cedar Rapids; and nephew Ronn (Amanda) Putz of Marion, IA; great nephews & niece, Dylan, Katelynn, Liam, and Owyn Putz of Marion, IA; Roseann (Gross) Welle of Milford, IA; Margaret Gross of Des Moines, IA; Larry & Diane (Gifford) Bunkofske of Burt, IA; Karen (Gifford) Wubben of Osage, IA; Arla Gifford of Algona, IA; Lucille (Gifford) Melvin Fabor of Burt, IA; Leona (Gifford) Larsen of Fenton, IA; Dick Gifford of Story City, IA; Bobbie Gifford of Garner; Deloris (Gifford) Alvin Boeckholt.
