Elizabeth Reinders, 90, of Armstrong, passes away; devoted farm wife, church volunteer and family matriarch remembered

ARMSTRONG — Elizabeth Reinders, 90, of Armstrong, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 8, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday, July 11, 2026, at Henry-Olson Funeral Home in Armstrong. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, July 12, 2026, at the Armstrong church listed by the family, with burial to follow.

ARMSTRONG — Elizabeth Reinders, 90, of Armstrong, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 8, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Elizabeth lived a life rooted in faith, family and service to her community. Friends and loved ones remember her as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother whose quiet strength, kindness and unwavering dedication touched generations.

Raised with strong Midwestern values, Elizabeth built a home where family always came first. Alongside her husband, she helped establish a life centered on hard work, hospitality and caring for others. Whether preparing family meals, supporting farm life, or opening her home for holidays and celebrations, she created lasting traditions that her family will continue to cherish.

Faith played a central role throughout her life. She was an active member of her church, where she generously shared her time through volunteer work and fellowship. Her gentle spirit and willingness to lend a helping hand made her a familiar and respected presence within the congregation and throughout the Armstrong community.

Elizabeth also found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She enjoyed gardening, baking, quilting, visiting with friends and spending countless hours with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family gatherings were among her happiest moments, and she took special pride in celebrating milestones and creating memories with those she loved.

Her legacy lives on through the family she nurtured, the values she instilled and the example of compassion and perseverance she demonstrated throughout her life.

She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends who will continue to honor her memory. She was preceded in death by her husband and other beloved family members.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday, July 11, 2026, at Henry-Olson Funeral Home in Armstrong.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, July 12, 2026, at the Armstrong church listed by the family, with burial to follow.
