MASON CITY — Alicia Anne Seidel, 43, of Mason City, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at the Manly Care Center, surrounded by her family.
Alicia was born on April 15, 1983.
According to her obituary, Alicia shared her life with her husband, Chad Seidel, and was the mother of Braxton Seidel and stepmother of Ian Seidel.
Her obituary also notes that Alicia leaves behind her sister, Heather Glazer; her aunt, Penny M. Bennett; numerous nieces and nephews; extended family members; cherished friends; and many neighborhood children who became an important part of her life.
Alicia also had a special place in her heart for her pets, Nikita, Chaos, Bella, Flash and Buster.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Sandra Lynn Wright; her grandparents, Charles “Pat” and Ava Coolican; her parents-in-law, Marcus and Arlene Seidel; Roger Seidel; and her friend, Andy Bell, according to the obituary.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 Third Street NE in Mason City.
A funeral service honoring Alicia’s life will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 17, 2026, at Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel.
