FERTILE — Dean Earl Ouverson, 81, of Fertile, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, July 10, 2026.
Dean was born October 1, 1944, and lived a life deeply rooted in North Iowa. Family and friends will remember him for the values he carried through life and the steady love he showed to those closest to him.
According to his obituary, Dean leaves behind a legacy of “hard work, kindness, and steadfast love,” a tribute that reflects the way he will be remembered by family and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Fertile Church of Christ, 3493 Eagle Avenue in Fertile.
