LIME SPRINGS — Gwen J. Mahr, 74, of rural Lime Springs, passed away peacefully on the morning of July 6, 2026, at her home.
Gwen was born June 27, 1952. Her passing is being mourned by family, friends and others who knew her in the Lime Springs, Cresco and surrounding North Iowa area.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Jerico Lutheran Church, 2515 120th Street, New Hampton. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Schmelzer Funeral Homes in Cresco.
Visitation will continue from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM Thursday at Jerico Lutheran Church before the funeral service. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Cresco.
