Mason City man accused of domestic assault found guilty of violating no-contact order

MASON CITY – A Mason City man who was arrested in July for domestic assault causing inury has been found guilty of violating a no-contact order in connection with that case and is now in jail.

Todd Allen Dutcher was arrested on July 8, 2014 by Mason City police at his home on 25th Street SW and charged with domestic assault causing injury for an incident that took place the previous day. Dutcher was taken to jail and served with a no-contact order on July 10, and that same day, he allegedly violated the order. He was also accused of violating the order on July 22. He was found guilty on August 13 of the first violation and sentenced to 10 days in jail.

Dutcher awaits a September 9 jury trial on the domestic assault charge.
