Mason City police say that Thursday morning at about 8:26 AM, a single-vehicle crash was reported in the 200 block of 13th Street NE. Jacob Gamble, age 32 of Rockford, Iowa, was driving a 2007 Ford Mustang southbound on Penn and stopped at the stop sign. Police spokesman explained that “Gamble accelerated across the intersection as he began to turn left and went eastbound on 13th Street NE. Gamble lost control, possibly due to his speed.”
The Mustang swerved up onto the south curb and collided with a utility pole. Gamble was not transported to a hospital, and it was not known if he was injured. He was cited for failure to maintain control.
Lucky he was’t beat , tazed ,or shot.
he should have had Chris Flatness from the sheriffs department investigate it. He would have given a warning.
He would of been just fine if he would of totaled two parked cars and his own like the MC police do but since it was a single vehicle and a telephone pole something needed to be done.
