SAC COUNTY, IOWA – An Iowa man handed a cop a homemade water bong, and was then taken to jail on several charges.
At 4:15 PM on February 25, 2022, the Sac County Sheriff’s Office stopped 19-year-old Tyler Joseph Lennon of Boone, Iowa for a traffic violation just east of Hwy 71 on Highway 20 east of Sac City. When the deputy contacted Lennon, the deputy could smell and odor of marijuana. When Lennon was questioned about the smell, Lennon handed the deputy a homemade water bong used to smoke marijuana. A search of the car located marijuana wax and marijuana.
Lennon was placed under arrest for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and issued a citation for having tinted windows. He was booked into the Sac County Jail.
