DES MOINES – Iowa is a ruby red state, and Republicans aim to keep it that way by re-electing their party leadership to fresh terms in office.

Jeff Kaufman and Linda Upmeyer were reelected as chair and cochair of the Republican Party of Iowa last week. The votes were unanimous, and both have been in office for years as the GOP dominates Iowa government.

“Jeff Kaufmann is doing an incredible job as Chairman of the Republican Party of Iowa,” President Donald Trump said this week.

“Jeff has overseen tremendous Republican gains in the Hawkeye State, including my HISTORIC WINS in 2016, 2020, and 2024. He is MAGA all the way, and I know he will do a fantastic job, and secure many more Victories for Iowa Republicans in 2026, and beyond. Jeff Kaufmann has my Complete and Total Endorsement for Re-Election as Chairman of the Republican Party of Iowa — HE WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN!”

Barbara Hovland, President of North Iowa Republican Woman, was ecstatic about the election, also, saying
“Both Jeff and Linda have shown great leadership and I know that they will continue to lead the state of Iowa Republican Party in a positive, respectful, manner with very strong goals in the years to come. They have built a network of strong volunteers and elected leaders across the board from the federal level to the state level.”

Beavis and Butthead.

Little Racist this AM?

You apparently don’t know these two. And why would you call my post racist?

Because l know your intent

Please tell me my intent. I dislike Linda Upmeyer because for years she kept medical marijuana from Iowans because she didn’t think the studies were valid. She probably still thinks that way. She also was paid by Koch Industries.
