DES MOINES – The National Weather Service in Des Moines is advising that scattered snow showers could cause visibility to drop between 1 and 3 miles for a short period of time Monday.
The area affected in Iowa is Mitchell county in addition to areas in Southern Minnesota.
Only a dusting of snow accumulation is predicted at this time, and the advisory should end by noon.
