Lori E. Jackson, daughter of James and Melinda (Koerber) Jackson, was born August 25, 1969 in Mason City. Lori passed away Thursday, June 5, 2025 at her home in Ruthven, Iowa at the age of 55.

Lori E. Jackson, daughter of James and Melinda (Koerber) Jackson, was born August 25, 1969 in Mason City, Iowa. She began her education in Nora Springs, Iowa and after Junior High, Lori’s family moved to Royal where she graduated from Royal High School in 1989.

Lori was united in marriage to Terry Malone in 1996. Terry passed away in 2012.

Lori was employed as a nail technician in Las Vegas during the early 1990s and after moving back to Iowa, she worked in various jobs throughout the area, including Walmart and Taco John’s.

Lori loved all types of animals and pets, especially horses. She was always taking in pets to care for. She was a member of Animal Rescue in Big Water, Utah. She also enjoyed watching football and was an avid Denver Broncos fan. Lori’s nieces and nephews were very important to her and she loved spending time with them.

Lori passed away Thursday, June 5, 2025 at her home in Ruthven, Iowa at the age of 55. She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry; her mother, Melinda; stepfather, Hal Stewart; and grandparents, Emil and Phyllis Koeber and Eleanore Jackson.

She is survived by her father, Jim Jackson of Ruthven, Iowa; her twin sister, Lisa Jackson of Ruthven, Iowa; her brother, Michael Jackson of Emmetsburg, Iowa; step sister, Misty (Riaan) Cilliers of Ruthven, Iowa; nieces and nephew, Shaina Hinckley and her children, Chloe, Cadence, Taitlynn, Hudson and Harrison of Spencer, Iowa, Casey Nickell and her children, Callie, Cambrie and Cohen of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Charity Jackson and her children, Porter and Penelope of Spencer, Iowa, and Nate Schmidt and his children, Colton and Hallie; as well as other relatives and friends.
