CLEAR LAKE — Clarence H. Baalson, 92, of Clear Lake, died Saturday, June 6, 2026, at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 22, 2026, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 213 N. Pennsylvania Avenue in Mason City, with Rev. Dan Gerrietts officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service Monday at the church.
Clarence will be laid to rest at Immanuel Cemetery in Scarville.
Born July 1, 1933, Clarence lived through nearly a century of change, carrying with him the memories, values and relationships that shaped a long North Iowa life. His passing marks the loss of a man whose life was rooted in family, faith and community.
Those gathering to honor Clarence will remember the steady presence he offered across the years and the quiet legacy left behind through the people who knew and loved him.
At 92, Clarence’s life stretched across generations, leaving family and friends with a lifetime of memories to hold close as they say goodbye.
