Police say a traffic stop and arrest were made on February 10, 2024, in downtown Charles City. According to police, at 2:15 AM that morning in the 700 block of Riverside Drive, officers with the Charles City police department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle of no headline on. After an investigation, 21-year-old Kristina Caster of Greene was arrested on the following charges:
– OPERATING WHILE INTOXICATED FIRST OFFENSE
– DRIVING WHILE SUSPENDED
– FAILURE TO USE HEADLAMPS WHEN REQUIRED
– FAILURE TO PROVIDE INSURANCE.
Caster was jailed and soon released. She now awaits a March 8 arraignment.
