Keith Frederick Dohlman, 70, of Geneva, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at his home. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, November 10, 2024, at Woodley Funeral Home in Hampton. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 11, 2024, at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in rural Geneva. Burial will take place in the church cemetery. Woodley Funeral Home of Hampton is caring for Keith and his family.
Keith was born September 30, 1954, in Hampton, to Eime and Dorothy (Mutschler) Dohlman. On September 30, 1981, he was united in marriage to Georgetta Adkins and took on two teenage girls.
Keith worked for many years on the family farm outside of Hampton with his brother, Roger. Years later, he was employed by his good friend, Larry Shugar, for 19 years outside of Ackley as a truck driver until 2020 when he retired. Keith also enjoyed the fishing trips with Larry and the crew.
Keith enjoyed NASCAR, cooking shows and spending time with his grandchildren. In later years, he enjoyed watching game shows and country westerns.
Keith is survived by his wife Georgetta Dohlman of Geneva; daughters: Valerie (Mike) Arndorfer of Hampton and Kelly Adkins of Mason City; granddaughters: Summer, April, Ashley and Meranda; grandson Brock; great-grandsons: Richard, Gabe, Louie and Carter; sisters: Kathleen Fonken of Des Moines and Thelma (Steve) Donaldson of Hampton; brother Roger (Jackie) Dohlman of Hampton; along with several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and nephew Shannon Donaldson.
