DOUGHERTY – Law enforcement is on the scene in Dougherty after a woman was found dead there Monday afternoon.
An emergency call was made after a woman discovered a relative deceased in a house located at 130 West Fisher Street. The house is owned by 53-year-old Chriss Wilson, originally from Mason City.
Paramedics arrived and law enforcement was there shortly thereafter, apparently about to investigate the situation.
The Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office later said that upon arrival or emergency responders, the female subject was not responsive or breathing. A medical examiner determined that subject passed away due to natural causes. A funeral home was contacted for their services.
