Casual attire is encouraged to be worn to both the visitation and funeral, as he was a young man of few words, and his favorite clothes were a t-shirt and sweatpants.

Colton was born November 29, 2001, Mason City, Iowa, he was the 1,000th baby born at Mercy Hospital that year. He is the son of Gary and Darla (Wreghitt) Kinseth, and brother to Tristan and Kyra Kinseth.

He graduated from Mason City High School in 2019, throughout his education, he was integrated into his regular classroom with half of his day spent in special education. He was loved by all his teachers, paras, and peers. Five-time state champion bowler with Special Olympics.

Colton enjoyed life. Some of Colton’s favorite things were riding the school bus, camping with his family, watching, and going to movies over and over, and sometimes bringing mom a special treat (his favorite popcorn). He loved going to hockey games, traveling (especially flying), he was a well-traveled young man with his well-loved and worn companion Monkey, visiting many countries. Most recently Egypt, Turkey, Greece, France, and England just to name a few. He loved his food, ribs, pizza, spaghetti, especially birthday cake and ice cream, and Grandma Carol’s pancakes.

He was employed by 43 North Iowa Becker Center in Mason City, Iowa, he counted and sorted hardware for Sukup Manufacturing. He loved his job, because we told him that he was working for his Aunt Nadine as she works for Sukup.

Colton showed his support for his brother and sister by attending most Boy Scout meetings, and many dance classes, recitals, and competitions.

Even though he struggled with communication, he spoke volumes with his smiles, laughter, hugs, fist bumps and goofy faces. He showed all of us that Down Syndrome and autism were not disabilities, but an opportunity to experience and appreciate true humanity in its purest form. Those left to cherish memories of Colton include his parents Gary and Darla, Brother Tristan, Sister Kyra (Phynnex), Niece Ryleigh, Nephew Beau, his dog Wonder, Uncle Jeff and Aunt Nadine Wreghitt with daughters Jasmine (Eric) Jones and Victoria (Matt) Miller, Aunt Linda Skinner, Uncle Les and Aunt Alisa Kinseth, Uncle Bruce and Aunt Lisa Kinseth, Uncle Jack and Aunt Tammy Won, Grandparents Fred and Carol Wreghitt, and many cousins.
