MASON CITY – A Kanawha man was stopped by a deputy and an illegal drug was found to be in his possession.
Jessie Robert Salinas, age 25, was pulled over by a Cerro Gordo deputy near Apple Avenue and 110th Street on the evening of November 25 for a traffic violation. During the course of the stop, the deputy discovered that Salinas possessed marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Salinas was arrested and booked into the county jail.
Salinas posted $1,000 bond the next day and was released from jail as he awaits a December 12 court date.
