Clear Lake man to take plea deal in burglary case

MASON CITY – A Clear Lake man accused of felony burglary is set to take a plea deal Friday.

Robert Allen Rollefson, age 49, stands accused of felony third degree burglary after an incident in January when he allegedly burglarized an apartment at 601 12th Ave North in Clear Lake. Clear Lake Officers executed a search warrant at Rollefson’s apartment where they recovered stolen property belonging to Chris Speaker and Lori Slater, neighbors of Rollefson. Rollefson indicated that some of the property was removed to two other residences in Clear Lake. Search warrants were executed at these residences and property taken in the burglary was found at one.

Rollefson was also accused of interference with official acts by Clear Lake police and has pled not guilty.

On Thursday, Rollefson was transported to the Cerro Gordo County Jail by a deputy, to await the hearing.
