Juveniles cited for shoplifting at Southbridge Mall

MASON CITY – The mall had people in it this week, and some of them were doing more than just shopping and walking laps.

Police were summoned to Southbridge Mall on Wednesday afternoon to take a theft report and two juveniles were cited: 12-year-old Dezeray Marie Starbuck and 14-year-old Chloe Jadeann Leeper.

Both were released top parents.

No matter who owns it or manages it, it will take shoppers and people buying things to keep it open.

@Buzz-As usual, you are correct. And, it is to bad as there are a lot of good people who work there and need the jobs. It is to bad when a facility goes down like that because it was bled off from the top. The Holding company that owns it right now bout it for little or nothing but still will not put enough in it to make it survive. I wouldn’t get down to much on the manager. I am pretty sure he is just doing what he is told.

Wait..we have a mall?

Not for much longer unless it gets new LOCAL owners and a new manager.
