Mason City, IA ñ On June 27th, Alex Kuhn announced his candidacy for the At-Large seat on the Mason City, City Council, currently held by Max Weaver. Today, Kuhn announced the members of his campaign committee, Citizens for Alex Kuhn:

“Having the support from such a tremendous group of Mason City volunteers gives me a boost everyday to work even a little harder to make this unified effort a success,” said Kuhn.
Kuhn said committee members, just like the candidate himself, are going to focus on the future of Mason City and the issues that need to be addressed to help Mason City grow. “We are all committed to talk about fresh ideas on how we can create opportunities and job growth in our community. I encourage anyone who gets in the race to rise above the name calling and focus on a real debate.”
The first public event will be held this Friday, July 29 at 3pm at Jitters. The “coffee with the candidate” is open to the public.
