College Basketball: South Dakota State 71, Iowa State 68

AMES – Iowa State dropped a home non-conference game Wednesday night to the Jackrabbits of South Dakota State, 71-68.

Iowa State was led by Solomon Young’s 24 points.  Iowa State trailed by 12 points at halftime as they struggled with 40% shooting while SDSU shot 60%.  Iowa State got within 1 point with a few seconds left, but SDSU iced the game from the free throw line.

Guard Noah Friedel led South Dakota State to the win with his 23 points.

The Cyclonesplay DePaul at home on Sunday, Dec. 6 at 5 PM in a Big 12/Big East Battle, televised on ESPNU.
