CHICKASAW COUNTY, IOWA – A North Iowa man recently placed on probation in a felony forgery case decided to flee a traffic stop, resulting in new felony charges.
On Saturday August 13, 2016, at approximately 1:00 AM, Chickasaw County Deputies attempted to stop a vehicle which was operated by Jordan Maurice Kellogg, age 19 of Ionia, for a traffic violation. Kellogg attempted to elude the deputy and, as a result, lost control of his vehicle.
Kellogg was taken into custody and transported to the Chickasaw County Sheriff’s Office. Kellogg was charged with Speeding, Felony Eluding, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Paraphernalia, Unlawful Possession of Prescription Drugs, Possession of Alcohol Under Age, and Failure to Maintain Control. Other charges are pending.
A probation violation was later filed by the State of Iowa in cases of felony forgery and illegal use of a credit card.
Kellogg is currently being held in the Chickasaw County Jail on $7,300 cash only bond for the traffic & drug charges and a $10,000 bond for the probation violation charge.
Dear Kellogg Dumb Ass:
The next time you run from the police, take a minute and take two hands and pull your 10gallon head out of your ass and think again!
19 and stupid! Dumb as a block of concrete.
