MASON CITY – Law enforcement raced to the Cultural Crescent to arrest a man allegedly intoxicated who was threatening his neighbors.
Mason City police and Cerro Gordo deputies responded to the apartment building at 206 North Federal Avenue on Monday, March 30 at about 10:28 PM. An emergency call had been made reference an intoxicated male “causing problems” and “threatening other tenants” in the building. A male subject, 32-year-old Ryan Christopher Beaman, was arrested and transported to jail. The property manager was advised of the incident.
Beaman was charged with disorderly conduct and third offense public intoxication. He awaits a hearing on April 6 and is still being held in the county jail on bond.
