Law Enforcement Conduct Death Investigation in Huxley

Huxley, IOWA — On Saturday, January 7, 2012 the Huxley Police Department received a phone call in reference to a welfare check on a 22 year old female. Huxley Police responded to 514 W. Main Ave, Apt. B, in Huxley and learned that the female in question had given birth to twins at her residence. The twins did not survive. The female was taken to a local hospital.

Autopsies will be conducted on Monday at the State Medical Examiner’s Office. No additional information will be released until the autopsies have been completed.

This investigation is being conducted by the Huxley Police Department and the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation.
