MASON CITY – A convicted burglar described as out-of-control by police was jailed Monday evening.
Police were called to a rental house at 74 Mission Drive after a call was received about a male subject causing a disturbance. Police arrived, and determined that Joshua Loren Schaer, age 27, was out-of-control and he was arrested on a charge of public intoxication.
In December, Schaer pleaded guilty to felony third degree burglary and was given probation for 5 years with suspended prison and fine. He is already a convicted felon on drug charges.
Aw, the poor guy. we should just give him another chance.
