CHARLES CITY — Jackie Dwayne “Jack” Tynan, 80, of Charles City, passed away Friday, June 19, 2026, at Floyd County Medical Center in Charles City. A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at Hauser Weishaar Funeral Home in Charles City. Visitation will continue one hour before the service on Wednesday.

CHARLES CITY — Jackie Dwayne “Jack” Tynan, 80, of Charles City, passed away Friday, June 19, 2026, at Floyd County Medical Center in Charles City.

Tynan was born July 6, 1945, in Charles City, giving his life deep roots in Floyd County and North Iowa. His passing is mourned by family, friends and loved ones who will carry forward memories of his life, his local ties and the years he shared with those around him.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at Hauser Weishaar Funeral Home in Charles City. Visitation will continue one hour before the service on Wednesday.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at Hauser Weishaar Funeral Home in Charles City, with Pastor Patty Kellogg officiating.
