MASON CITY – The Dolly’s Party Bus was in Mason City Saturday night driving around a dozen couples from the Nashua High School Prom.
They were whooping it up, waving at the cars, laughing and having a good time as they pulled into the Ruby Tuesday’s parking lot.
“We are just chilling out,” were some of the comments heard from the young couples all dressed in formal attire. “We’re having fun.”
They were planning on eating at the restaurant, then return to Nashua for the prom dance.
Shane Cross, the driver of the Dolly’s Party Bus, said, “Prom groups are pretty tame compared to other parties, such as birthday and bachelor parties because they are not old enough to drink.”
Dolly’s Party Bus is out of Cedar Falls and “We go all over for all kinds of different occasions and events,” said Cross.
Glad to see that they were having fun.
Andrew, 4th SW is Anyplace, USA. The traffic stinks, it looks like North Iowa’s second landfill and it is full of idiots looking for cheap shit. In the meantime, the greedy big box stores and their minion eateries serving the best in greasy entrees are shipping their profits out of MC paying North Iowans barely above minimum wages. With Nasuha being the same distance to Cedar Falls, I wonder why theses young people didn’t go there like Target Distribution did?
Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Just be happy for them and if you have such a bad taste about our town….. there is an easy solution; move.
Looks like a great group of youngsters. Glad to have them in Mason City. Interestingly. They visited the REAL main street in MC, which is 4th SW, not North Federal. Everyone -even out of towners- knows this except the thieves running the show up there.
It is nice seeing kids being kids. Went with my friend Dan and we turned out being best friends now for over 30 years.
