Wanted Mason City felon turns himself in

MASON CITY – A wanted Mason City man surrendered to police this week.

Bill Joe Anderson, age 42, was wanted on a warrant for a parole violation related to drug possession and drug dealing convictions. Anderson was convicted of possession of loaded hypodermic needles and marijuana as well as felony burglary and criminal mischief. He owes Iowa courts thousands of dollars in unpaid fines and fees, records show.

Anderson is being held without bond in the Cerro Gordo County Jail.
