FAYETTE COUNTY – A Northern Iowa man was stopped and arrested for drunk driving.
On July 23, 2025, at approximately 9:52 PM a Fayette County Deputy conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Lincoln Road (IA 150 N) and W Bradford Street (HWY 18). After further investigation, the driver, Julio Pizano Gonzalez, age 36 of West Union, Iowa, was placed under arrest for Operating While under the Influence 1st Offense, a serious misdemeanor.
Gonzalez was transported to the Fayette County jail to await further court proceedings.
