FOREST CITY, IOWA, April 26, 2013 – Winnebago Industries, Inc. (NYSE:WGO), a leading United States (U.S.) recreation vehicle manufacturer, is renovating the Company’s Rally Grounds Activity Complex.
The Winnebago Industries® Rally Grounds Activity Complex, located adjacent to the Company’s Forest City, Iowa headquarters and main manufacturing complex is undergoing a series of planned renovations. Improvements include surface leveling of Section A of the original Rally Grounds along with upgraded 50 amp electrical service in that section. When the Rally Grounds were originally developed in the 1970’s, RV’s were typically smaller than they are today and did not incorporate many of today’s modern features such as slide outs. These upgrades provide more user-friendly accommodations for today’s RVer. The entire facility is also receiving a WI-FI system enhancement to improve visitors’ access to internet service on site.
Winnebago Industries Director of Marketing Chad Reece added, “Ongoing improvements make our Rally Grounds Activity Complex, which is already a uniquely premier location for RV related and other gatherings, even better. We look forward to showcasing these improvements when we host our annual WIT Club Grand National Rally July 21st thru the 26th and other events moving forward.”
Winnebago Industries’ Rally Grounds Activity Complex has electrical hookups for over 1,300 RV’s and dry camping space to accommodate several hundred more. On site amenities include sanitary dump stations, rest room/shower house facilities, a 3,000 seat outdoor amphitheater, an air conditioned 60′ x 200′ carpeted meeting facility with a hard surface dance floor area. A second air conditioned meeting facility that can accommodate up to 125 people and includes a bar/lounge area. Two covered pavilion areas provide additional outdoor meeting space . A professionally managed Food Service is conveniently located on the grounds to cater guests’ food service needs.

Welcome to North Iowa!
You don’t need a car, it’s a very small town. Midwesterners always find a way to eat.
this is our first gnr in iowa. is it necessary to bring your car. what is the best route to take coming from maryland, other than the turnpike? is there a lot of places to eat at the rally.?
