MASON CITY – The Cerro Gordo County Conservation Board campground opening date has been postponed due to the unseasonably cool and wet spring. The 2013 CGCCB campground opening date is set for Friday May 10, 2013.
CGCCB manages three modern campgrounds; Ingebretson Park in Thornton; Linn Grove Park in Rockwell; and Wilkinson Pioneer Park in Rock Falls. Each campground offers 30 amp electrical hook-ups, a dump station, and a shower house facility. Camping rates for the 2013 season are $12 for electrical sites and $7 for non-electrical sites.
