MASON CITY – A Mason City woman found herself in jail after police found her passed out drunk in the road Sunday afternoon.
Mason City police responded to a phone call about a subject passed out in the roadway at Gracious Estates mobile home park and discovered Natalie Ann Morel, 27, at the scene.
Morel was arrested and charged with simple misdemeanor public intoxication. Morel plead guilty on March 18th and owes $195.00 to the courts in fines and fees.
This is not the first time Morel has been arrested in the mobile home park she calls home.
Earlier this year, on February 1st, Morel was arrested for a fight at Gracious Estates and charged with one simple misdemeanor count of Obstruction of Emergency Communications. Judge Rolf Aronsen threw the charge out.
However, after a March 10th incident, Mason City police again charged Morel with Obstruction of Emergency Communications. A trial is set for April 3rd in that case.
In addition, a Mason City woman has applied for relief from domestic abuse from Morel at this time. On her Facebook page, the woman says she is Morel’s mother.
