CHARLES CITY – It was an expensive night out for one Charles City man after cops found him intoxicated and unconscious in the street.
According to police, the incident took place on the early morning of February 11, 2024. At 1:43 AM, officers with the Charles City police department found an intoxicated individual passed out in the street in the area of Ferguson Street and North Grand Avenue. After an investigation, police arrested 28-year-old Tyler Kent of Charles City on a charge of public intoxication.
Kent was jailed and soon released. Records show Kent pled guilty and was ordered to pay $347.50 in fines and court fees.
