MASON CITY – North Iowa’s women’s flat track roller derby team, the River City Dames of Anarchy, have a home bout Saturday night.
With the threat of bad weather, you may want to take a break from the Band Festival festivities and go see them in an exciting contest, as they take on the Rock Island, Illinois Farm Fresh Roller Girls.
Bring your friends and family and help raise money for a great organization in our community, the North Iowa Youth Center. Ten percent of your ticket price will go to support the youth.
Advanced tickets are available at Roller City, Tailgater’s, Harley Davidson of Mason City and Waynes Ski and Cycle. You can purchase tickets from any of the Dames, too. They will be in the North Iowa Band Festival parade giving out candy, Saturday morning.
Doors will open at 6:00 PM and the whistle blows for the first jam at 7:00. The bout will be held in the All Season Building at the North Iowa Events Center. There will be an after party at Tailgaters in Mason City, with drink specials and an endless supply of fun.
Come rain or shine, Harley Davidson of Mason City is inviting everyone to their biggest event of the year. Saturday between 10:30 AM and 3:00 PM they will be having a Hog Roast at their South Federal Store.

There will be specials on clothing, services and motorcycles.
