AMES, Iowa – May 8, 2012 – Today, the Iowa Transportation Commission approved a Revitalize Iowa’s Sound Economy (RISE) Local Development grant application submitted by the city of Eagle Grove. Up to $168,474 will be made available to assist in reconstruction of approximately 1,665 feet of 255th Street located on the northeast side of town. This project is anticipated to be completed by September 2012.
This project is necessary to provide improved access to 30 acres for industrial purposes.
Funding for the grant comes from the city share of the RISE Fund.
