MASON CITY – Police are still investigating a single-vehicle crash Sunday morning where the occupant of the vehicle apparently fled the scene.
Mason City police couldn’t divulge many details later Sunday afternoon on the incident, which took place at 4th Street SW and Pierce Avenue at about 3 AM.
“We were briefed on the incident but I can’t say much right now,” Sgt. David Houser said.
NIT was informed that a white truck with a male driver may have picked up the driver of the car, a female, and then drove off.
