MASON CITY – Beginning Monday August 6, 2012 at 7:00 a.m., the Mason City Utility Division will begin street repairs at the intersection of 18th Street SW and South Pierce Avenue.
South Pierce Avenue from 19th Street SW to 18th Street SW will be closed to thru traffic. Traffic should use alternate routes to by-pass the construction zone. Businesses on 18th Street SW can get access from 15th Street SW.
The projected time for repairs is expected to be approximately 3 days.
Expect congestion and delays around this area while the street is under construction. Please watch for construction workers and equipment if you are traveling near the work zone.
