MASON CITY – A Mason City woman caught twice in March by law enforcement for driving drunk has pleaded guilty.
Victoria Carrott, age 24 Mason City, pled guilty on May 12th to second offense operating while intoxicated and was found guilty of violating her probation connected to a house robbery. Carrott was sentenced to two years in prison (suspended), seven days in jail, 180 days in a residential facility, placed on two years probation, and assessed $2,681.25 in court costs and fines.
Carrot was stopped by a Cerro Gordo county deputy on March 20th at about 10:14 PM near Pennsylvania Avenue and Elm Drive in Mason City. She was charged with second offense operating while intoxicated. She was also wanted on an arrest warrant at that time for violating the terms of her probation related to a 2012 home invasion she participated in.
Carrott was also arrested on March 13th by Mason City police after a two-car collision at the 400 block of 9th Street NW. Carrott was arrested at the scene and charged with second offense operating while intoxicated (OWI). Her first OWI offense came in 2008, also on a charge from Mason City police.
